About the Archive

Mission

I am a student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a major in Nuclear Engineering and a minor in Data Science. As part of my academic journey, I have undertaken a project to create an archive documenting the diverse experiences and responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. This project aims to capture a comprehensive and multifaceted account of the pandemic's effects, challenges, and responses, providing valuable resources for researchers, educators, and the general public.
The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted societies worldwide, influencing health, economics, and social dynamics. Through this digital archive, I strive to preserve diverse stories, information, and analytical data to foster a deeper understanding of this unprecedented global event. The archive includes a wide range of materials such as photographs, personal narratives, official documents, and multimedia recordings, presenting a holistic view of how the pandemic has reshaped individual lives and societies globally.
In creating this archive, I prioritize capturing a broad spectrum of experiences and voices to ensure the collection reflects diverse perspectives. Maintaining authenticity and reliability in the collected materials is paramount, and I am committed to making the archive accessible and useful to everyone, regardless of their background or expertise. This project not only serves as a significant educational resource but also as a testament to the resilience and adaptability of humanity during a global crisis.
